STRASBURG -- Neoga and Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg split victories in junior high girls basketball Tuesday evening.

Neoga claimed the seventh-grade contest, 40-26. Neoga held a 28-12 halftime lead and never looked back.

Two players hit double figures for the winners. C. Frankie scored 12 and M. Frankie 10 for the winners.

WSS was led by Maddy Manhart with 10. The squad drops to 0-6.

In eighth-grade play, WSS tallied a 39-16 win over Neoga. WSS held a 24-8 halftime lead.

Edie Wittenberg was the lone player in double figures with 12.

At Dieterich

Dieterich and Martinsville split wins Tuesday.

Dieterich was a winner in seventh-grade play, 14-11. Lexie Funneman led with six points. Claire Faller had five rebounds.

In eighth-grade action, Martinsville claimed a 41-18 win.

Dieterich was led by Ava Niemerg with six points and three rebounds.
