Coach Maxedon Visits Effingham

Longtime Effingham High School boys basketball coach Jim Maxedon was in Effingham this week.

Maxedon, who now lives in Florida, was in the area for a visit and was hosted at a luncheon at Firefly Grill by one of his former players, Tim Weis of Weis Insurance Agency. Several former players of the coach were on hand, along with former assistant Wayne Rubach and friends.
