The Sacramento Kings G League affiliate made history Tuesday, naming Lindsey Harding as the new head coach of the Stockton Kings and Anjali Ranadivé as the new general manager. It's the first time in G League history that two women will lead an affiliate team.

Harding spent four seasons as an assistant/player development coach with the Kings and also spent time on the Philadelphia 76ers' staff. She played nine seasons in the WNBA after being picked No. 1 overall in the 2007 draft out of Duke. She also has extensive experience coaching internationally.

Ranadivé, 30, is the daughter of Kings owner Vivek Ranadivé and was the Stockton Kings’ assistant general manager last season. She previously worked in the Kings’ social responsibility department and as an intern for the Golden State Warriors.

Kuzma To Become Free Agent

Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma has declined his $13 million player option and will become a free agent. Kuzma is expected to be one of the most prominent players to hit free agency this summer after averaging a career-high 21.2 points to go with 7.2 rebounds.

Toronto Raptors guard Gary Trent Jr. is picking up his $18.5 million player option for next season.

Trent, 24, is coming off another strong season after averaging 17.4 points and 1.6 steals per game. Acquired in a deadline deal with the LA Clippers for Norman Powell in 2021, Trent grew into a more well-rounded scorer in Toronto to complement his elite ability as a shooter.
