Warriors' Green Suspended, NBA Scores

Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors was suspended from Wednesday night’s Game 3 against the Grizzlies after stepping on Sacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis during Monday’s game.

Green claimed it was an accident. The NBA’s head of basketball operation, Joe Dumars, explained the penalty to ESPN: “Here’s what it came down to: Excessive and over-the-top actions, conduct detrimental, and a repeat offender.” Green has 17 ejections and three suspensions on his record.
