A young man named Cameron Mofid woke up one morning to find his GoFundMe campaign had grown by $45,000 with an unexpected donation from Dallas Mavericks point guard Kyrie Irving.

Mofid’s quest to build a school in Nigeria and an orphanage in Ghana had exceeded its funding goal overnight.

According to Nets Daily, Irving has quietly donated about $500,000 to GoFundMe accounts over the past several years.
