Three Teams Advance At 2A T-town Regional

Three games were contested in the Class 2A Teutopolis Boys Basketball Regional Saturday.

In game one, Shelbyville was a 67-43 winner over Paris.

Game two was a win by Robinson. The Maroons defeated Sullivan, 61-27.

Flora claimed game three by beating Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond, 62-40.

Shelbyville advances to face Teutopolis Wednesday at 6 p.m. followed by Robinson taking on Flora at 7:30.

The winners then advance to the championship game Friday at 7 p.m.

Tickets for the regional will be sold at the door and the cost is $6 with general admission seating. Doors will not open Wednesday evening before 5 p.m.

 

Class 2A Lawrenceville Regional

Two games were on tap at the Lawrenceville Regional Saturday.

Fairfield edged Marshall, 59-57 in game one.

Mount Carmel downed Oblong/Palestine/Hutsonville, 61-42.

Fairfield will now meet  No. 2 Lawrenceville at 6 p.m. Wednesday while Mount Carmel will take on No. 3 Newton at 7:30.

The winners will meet Friday at 7 p.m. for the regional championship.
