Class 1A Neoga Regional

Neoga 60, Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City 36 (Neoga led start-to-finish. The Indians led 18-5 after one quarter, 37-14 at the half, and 51-24 after three quarters; Neoga shot 37% from the field including 7 of 19 threes, while CHBC shot just 25% from the field and 2 of 13 threes. Neoga, which picked up their 30th win against three defeats, had the picture of balanced scoring as Brynn Richards, Allison Sampson, Sydney Hakman and Sydney Richards each scored 12 points. Grace Heckert led CHBC with nine points. The Bobcats end their season at 21-11)

Class 3A Mattoon Regional

Mattoon 56, Effingham 54 (The Lady Hearts were in the game start to finish, but turned the ball over too often. The lead for either team was never more than nine points; Mattoon led 15-10 after one quarter and 25-24 at halftime. The Hearts were down 43-38 after three quarters and outscored Mattoon 16-13 in the final period to lose by two; Madison Mapes and Alyssa Martin led Effingham with 11 points apiece; Effingham closed out its season at 20-11, while Mattoon is now even at 16-16; Effingham had defeated Mattoon twice during the regular season, once by four points, once by five points)
