The Bulldogs edged out to a 12-10 opening quarter lead. Andrew Donaldson kept the Hearts close with two three-pointers while Andrew Splechter hit two free throws and a basket for four points.
Mahomet-Seymour then took off with a 21-13 second quarter to lead 33-23 at halftime. The Bulldogs led 45-35 going into the final period and had a 16-9 run for the winning margin.
Splechter led the way for the Hearts with 14 points while Logan Heil added 10.

At Teutopolis
Teutopolis easily downed Robinson by a 73-41 count Saturday.
The Wooden Shoes edged ahead 19-15 in the first quarter then went on an 18-9 second quarter to lead 37-24 t halftime. The Shoes had a 36-17 second half run.
Four players finished in double figures for Teutopolis. Caleb Siemer led the way with 21 points on eight field goals and five of five at the line. Brendan Niebrugge added 18 points on six field goals with five of those from three-point range and one of two at the line. James Niebrugge chipped in with 12 and Joey Niebrugge added 10.

At Farina
South Central tallied a 56-52 win over Webber Township (Bluford) Saturday.
The Cougars held a 13-8 opening quarter lead as Aidan Dodson connected on four of four from the line, hit a three-pointer and a two-pointer for nine of the team's 13 points.
South Central led 28-20 at halftime. Dodson continued his run with two regular baskets and a three-pointer for seven while Rahkeim Anderson scored five and Ethan Watwood hit a three-pointer.
South Central continued on with a 14-12 third quarter. Anthony Buonaura took over the scoring with six points. In the final period, Webber came roaring back from a 42-32 deficit with a 20-14 run but couldn't get over the hump as the Cougars pull out the four-point win.
Dodson led the way with 21 points on six field goals, two from three-point range and seven of seven at the line. Also in double figures was Watwood with 14.

North Clay (Lousviille) improved to 18-8 on the season with a 79-44 win over Patoka/Odin Saturday.
The Cardinals edged out to a 26-20 opening quarter lead then opened the game up with a 23-9 second period and a 25-9 third quarter.
Four players scored in double figures for the winners. Alex Boose led the way, connecting on 10 field goals, that included two three-pointers, and was four of six at the line for 26 points. Logan Fleener added 20 while Levi Smith had 14 and Cody Zimdars chipped in with 10.
In the junior varsity contest, North Clay was a 51-37 winner. Jesse Weidner led theCardinals with 11 points.
