Class 7-1A Hutsonville Regional
Newton St. Thomas advanced to the championship game of this regional with a victory.
St. Thomas easily handled Kansas, 48-15.
In the second game, North Clay (Louisville) saw its season come to a close with a 48-39 loss to Mattoon St. John.
North Clay ends the season with an 11-8 record.
St. Thomas and Mattoon St. John will meet for the regional championship Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
North Clay's fifth/sixth grade boys lost a regular season contest to Sigel St. Michael St. Michael won the fifth-grade contest 27-20 and claimed the sixth-grade game, 44-5.
Class 7-2A Effingham St. Anthony Regional
Two games were contested at the St. Anthony Regional.
In the opener, Dieterich downed South Central, 31-14.
In the second game, St. Anthony was a 49-39 winner over Paris Crestwood.
Paris Crestwood ripped out to a 20-6 opening quarter lead on the Bullpups. The Bullpups were down 27-7 with three minutes remaining in the second quarter when they started a comeback to trail 27-16 at halftime.
St. Anthony then went on a tear in the third quarter, outscoring Crestwood 21-8 to pull ahead 37-35 going into the final period. In that quarter, Jonny Gannaway connected on four baskets, one a three-pointer, for nine points while it was raining threes as Jameson McCallister knocked in two and Kade Pennington and Conner Storm had one each.
In the final period, the Bullpups continued with a 12-4 run to pull out the win. Gannaway hit four of four from the free throw line while C. Storm had two baskets and Mason Storm and Cooper Sehy one each.
Gannaway finished with 21 points on eight field goals, one a three-pointer, and four of four at the line. C. Storm tallied 11.
Dieterich and St. Anthony will square off for the championship Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
Class 7-2A St. Anthony Regional

Class 7-3A Red Hill (Bridgeport) Regional
Jasper County tallied a 41-14 win over Robinson Nuttall in the first game Monday evening at the Red Hill Regional.
Jasper County took a 10-4 opening quarter lead and led 27-8 at halftime.
Maddox Horner scored 14 points for the winners while Chance Mulvey added 11. Xander Wilson was the top rebounder and Mulvey the top defender.
Jasper County is now 20-2 on the season and will meet Red Hill at 7 p.m. Wednesday for the regional championship.

Class 7-4A Rochester Regional
Effingham's season came to a close in the Rochester Regional Monday.
The Mustangs fell to host Rochester, 53-24.
Rochester stepped out to a 14-2 opening quarter lead and led 29-7 at halftime.
Jenner Pals led EJHS with eight points while Westin Hayes added seven.
In the second game, Mount Zion edged Taylorville, 27-24.
Rochester and Mount Zion will meet for the regional championship Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
