The Bulldogs held a 17-10 opening quarter lead as Stacie Vonderheide scored three baskets for six points, Lucy Fearday nailed two three-pointers and Nancy Ruholl hit a three-point basket.
Taegan Webster kept the Cougars close with eight of her team's 10 points.
St. Anthony then put the game away with a 27-10 second period as Vonderheide was unstoppable with four regular baskets and a three-pointer for 11 and Ruholl added two more trifectas.
The Cougars made a comeback attempt behind Webster's 12 third quarter points as South Central outscored the Bulldogs 20-9 but still were 13 points away.
South Central continued on its run with a 22-19 final quarter but still couldn't get over the hump.
Four players hit double digits for St. Anthony. Fearday finished with 22 on eight field goals that included three trifectas and were three of six at the line. Vonderheide added 21 on nine field goals, one a three-pointer, and two of two at the line. Ruholl chipped in with 12 and Addi Nuxoll added 10.
South Central was led by Webster with 30 points on 11 field goals, two three-pointers, and six of seven at the line.
Also scoring in double figures for the Cougars were Kaitlyn Swift with 13 and Brooklyn Garrett with 10.

At Neoga
Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City took the first quarter lead but Neoga came back and finished with a 58-45 win Monday.
CHBC led 16-13 after the opening quarter. The Indians then had a 13-9 second period run to move ahead 26-25 at halftime.
Then in the second half, Neoga outscored CHBC 32-20 for the final point spread.
Sydney Richards led the way for Neoga with 24 points on nine field goals and five of seven at the line. Also in double figures were Sydney Hakman with 12 and Haylee Campbell with 10.
Neoga improved to 24-3 on the season and will travel to Robinson Saturday.
The Bobcats were led by Gracie Heckert with 17 on six field goals and five of five at the line. Macee Rodman added 12 points. CHBC dropped to 14-8 on the season.
Neoga edged Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City 30-29 in junior varsity play. Leading CHBC was Karlee Smith with eight.

At Louisville
Brownstown/St. Elmo traveled to North Clay (Louisville) and picked up a 52-42 victory Monday evening.
North Clay dropped to 2-4 in the National Trail Conference and 13-9 overall.
The Cardinals are back in action Thursday against Sandoval.
At Newton
Newton played host to Marshall in a Little Illini Conference contest and picked up a 49-45 victory Monday.
The Eagles stepped out to a 10-4 opening quarter lead and led 18-14 at halftime.
The two teams then played to a 31-31 second half.
Four players finished in double figures for Newton in even scoring. Lilly Kessler, Addy O'Dell and Camryn Martin scored 11 points each while Elley Bennett chipped in with 10. Kessler led in rebounding with 14. C. Martin led in assists with four.
Newton improved to 2-3 in the conference, 11-12 overall. The Eagles will be back in action Thursday at Olney.
The Eagles also nabbed the junior varsity game, 40-29. Leading Newton were Macy Barthelemy with 10 and Izzy Meinhart with 10. The JV squad is 3-2 in the conference, 10-3 overall.
