The Hearts fell to Mascoutah by a 50-39 count in the championship game.
Mascoutah took a 15-11 opening quarter lead and led 32-23 at halftime. The Hearts played Mascoutah pretty even in the second half but couldn't get over that first half lead.
Three players hit double figures for Masoutah. Sophia Loden led with 20 while Annelise Beck had 12 and Kennah Barringer 10.
The Hearts were led by Bria Beals with 11 points. Madison Mapes and Ella Niebrugge added seven each.
Mapes was named to the All-Tournament Team.
The third place contest went to Vandalia over Greenville, 56-33 while fifth place went to Salem 37-34. Seventh place went to Centralia over Madison 82-22.

Highland Tournament
Teutopolis swept out to the early lead in the fifth place game at the Highland Tournament against Bethalto Civic Memorial. The Wooden Shoes went on to finish out with a 56-39 victory.
The Wooden Shoes held a 20-11 opening quarter lead behind Emily Konkel's 10 points on two trifectas and two regular baskets.
Kaylee Niebrugge took over in the second quarter with six points as the Sheos held a 34-23 halftime lead.
Bethalto came back in the third quarter to pull wtihin 38-33 but the Shoes hit their free throws in the final period 18-6 run for the winning margin.
Niebrugge hit six field goals and was seven of eight at the line for 19 points. She connected on a basket and six of six at the line in the final period. Konkel tallied 16 on seven field goals, two of those three-pointers.
Konkel led in rebounds with five while Niebrugge had four. Konkel also led in steals with four and had one assist. Mollie Ruholl had one assist.
The championship game went to Alton over Okawville, 54-38. O'Fallon claimed third place by downing Breese Mater Dei, 54-34. The consolation championship went to Nashville over Collinsville, 47-27.

Lincoln Prairie Conference Tournament
Cumberland High School captured third place at the Lincoln Prairie Conference Tournament Saturday.
The Pirates defeated Okaw Valley, 47-30. Cumberland ran off to a 16-2 opening quarter lead and led 22-8 at halftime.
Paige Dittamore scored 15 while Abbie Becker added 14 and Suzy Fritts 10 in the win.
