SIUE Men's Basketball To Play Before National TV Audience

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – For the second time this season, SIUE men's basketball will play for a national television audience. The Cougars' Jan. 26 game at Tennessee Tech's Hooper Eblen Center has been selected for the Ohio Valley Conference television package.

The game is the third of nine televised OVC contests and will appear on ESPNews. Tipoff time has been adjusted to 6 p.m. to accommodate the broadcast.

This is the Cougars' second selection by the league to be featured on national television after hosting Tennessee State on Jan. 5 at First Community Arena.

At 14-5, the Cougars are off to their best start since joining Division I. SIUE stands alone on top of the OVC standings with a 5-1 record in league play.

The women's game also scheduled for Jan. 26 at Tennessee Tech will now tip at 3 p.m.
