Altamont #1 Seed for Boys NTC Tournament

The Altamont Indians are the #1 seed for the 87th Annual Boys National Trail Conference Tournament later this month. The seedings and the first round pairings were announced Saturday morning.

Here is the order of teams and how they were seeded:

1--Altamont

2--North Clay

3--St. Anthony

4--Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg

5--Dieterich

6--St. Elmo/Brownstown

7--South Central

8--Neoga

9--Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City

The tournament is scheduled for Monday through Saturday, January 23-28, at Altamont Community High School. 

Here is the schedule:

Monday, January 23--6:15pm--Neoga vs. CHBC

Tuesday, January 24--6:15pm--Altamont vs. Neoga/CHBC winner...7:45pm--Windsor/Stew-Stras vs. Dieterich

Wednesday, January 25--6:15pm--North Clay vs. South Central...7:45pm--St. Anthony vs. St. Elmo/Brownstown

Thursday, January 26--5pm--losers of Games 1 and 4...6:15pm--losers of Tuesday games...7:45pm--winners of Tuesday games

Friday, January 27--6:15pm--winner of Game 6 vs. loser of Game 5...7:45pm--winners of Wednesday games

Saturday, January 28--11:30am--losers of Games 7 and 9...1pm--Consolation Championship (winners of Games 7 and 9)...2:30pm--3rd Place Game (losers of Games 8 and 10)...7:30pm--Tournament Championship (winners of Games 8 and 10)

We plan to broadcast all 14 games of the tournament on Classic Hits 979XFM and 979xfm.com. We will again this year also be providing live video streaming of each game of the tournament.
