St. Elmo/Brownstown Claims Boys Basketball Win

St. Elmo/Brownstown took the early lead and went on for a 64-58 non-conference boys basketball win over Edinburg Wednesday evening.

The Eagles shot over 50 percent in all categories. They hit 54 percent from the field and from three-point range and hit 57 percent from the free throw line.

SEB held a 34-28 halftime lead then the two teams played equal in the second half with 30 points.

Four players scored in double figures for the Eagles. Adam Atwood tallied 19 points on nine field goals, one a three-pointer. Jarrett Pasley scored 13 while Caleb Campbell and Cade Schaub had 12 each. The only other player to score was Wyatt Stine with eight points.

Atwood led in rebounds with seven and steals with five. Campbell led in assists with five.

St. Elmo/Brownstown improved to 11-5 on the season.
