Teutopolis picked up two victories over Effingham in seventh- and eighth-grade B boys basketball action Saturday at its own shootout.

T-town won the seventh-grade contest, 34-20. Tucker Dhom led the way with 10 points.

Effingham was led by Aidan Haynes with six points.

In the eighth-grade matchup, T-town won 29-16. Grant Roepke tallied seven for the winners.

Effingham was led by Julian Moon with six.

T-town then split victories with East St. Louis Clark.

The Wooden Shoes won the seventh-grade contest 32-26. T-town held a 19-14 halftime lead and had an 8-5 third quarter.

Jake Probst scored 14 and Eric Weidner 11 for the winners.

In the eighth-grade game, T-town fell, 43-35.

Clark led 19-17 at haltime then had a 23-18 second half run.

Jake Kocher led with 14 points while Ross Bloemer had 10.

Effingham fell to East St. Louis Clark in eighth-grade play, 29-25.

Clark took a 15-11 halftime lead and had a14-14 second half.

Jake Niebrugge led the Mustangs with 10 points.
