Pacers Even Up Series With Heat

(Indianapolis, IN) -- The Pacers refused to go away as they battled the Heat to a 99-92 win in Game Four of the Eastern Conference finals at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.  Pacers head coach Frank Vogel says they played with a lot of heart.

Indiana evened up the series at two behind 23 points and 12 rebounds from Roy Hibbert. Lance Stephenson tallied 20 points with five boards.  Indiana shot 50-percent from the field and grabbed 15 on the offensive glass. LeBron James posted 24 points, six rebounds and five assists in the loss. Mario Chalmers chipped in 20 points. The game was filled with controversial calls both ways and resulted in 55 personal fouls and 60 free throws. Game Five is Thursday night in Miami.

 

Suns Name Hornacek New Head Coach

(Phoenix, AZ) -- Jeff Hornacek is in place as the new head coach of the Phoenix Suns. He was introduced Tuesday and says he's thrilled to be back with the Suns

Hornacek spent the last three seasons as an assistant with the Utah Jazz. He played for the Suns from 1986 to 1992. He takes over for interim coach Lindsey Hunter, who was not retained after replacing the fired Alvin Gentry in mid-January. The Suns finished last in the Western Conference this season with a 25-57 record.
