The finals are set for the National Trail Conference Seventh-Grade Boys Basketball Tournament after Tuesday evening games were contested.

Dieterich tallied a 49-13 win over Neoga in the opening contest.

Stewardson-Strasburg followed with a 34-30 victory over Effingham Sacred Heart.

Stew-Stras edged out to a 9-4 opening quarter lead but the Shamrocks came back to pull within 17-14 at halftime. Stew-Stras then had a 17-16 second half.

Bible led the winners with 10 points.

Sacred Heart was led by Dagen Mooney with 10 points.

Dieterich and Stewardson-Strasburg will now meet at 8 p.m. Thursday for the tourney championship.

Neoga and Sacred Heart will square off at 6:45 p.m. for third place.

The consolation championship, featuring North Clay (Louisville) and South Central, will take place at 5:30 p.m.
