Effingham 75, Mattoon 59 (seventh place game) (the Hearts posted their first victory of the season, leading start to finish; Effingham was up 21-10 after one quarter, 37-27 at halftime, and 56-38 after three quarters; Garrett Wolfe had a big game for the Hearts by pouring in 32 points. Andrew Splechter scored 17 points and Logan Heil added 14 points. Also for the Hearts: Andrew Donaldson 8, Ryan Pals 3, and Spencer Fox 1; Taeriek Grace with 17 points, Owen Hawkins with 15 points, and Blaine Powers with 11 paced Mattoon; the Hearts shot 53% from the field)

Highland 56, St. Anthony 44 (third place game) (St. Anthony led 12-11 after one quarter, but Highland led 29-24 at halftime, and 43-34 after three quarters; St. Anthony made 16 of 42 shots, 38%; Collin Westendorf led St. Anthony with 10 points; also for St. Anthony: Griffin Sehy 7, Max Koenig 7, Sam Link 6, Ryan Schmidt 5, Brock Fearday 4, Michael Martelli and Will Fearday 2 apiece, Brady Hatton 1; Jake Ottensmeier and Joe Jansen led Highland with 14 points each)
Breese Central 44, Teutopolis 33 (championship) (the game was tied 30-30 heading into the fourth quarter, but Breese Central outscored the Shoes 14-3 to post the win; the Shoes shot 33% from the field, 12 of 36; Joey Niebrugge and Caleb Siemer each scored nine points to pace the Shoes, while Garrett Gaddis scored eight, Brendan Niebrugge 2, James Niebrugge 2, Caleb Bloemer 2, and Logan Roepke 1; Chase Lewis led Breese Central with 16 points and Mason Shubert with 12)
