Teutopolis played host to Mount Zion in junior high boys basketball and was victorious in both seventh- and eighth-grade play Saturday.

In the seventh-grade contest, T-town was a 44-27 winner. The Wooden Shoes ripped out to a 16-0 opening quarter lead and that was the game.

Jake Probst and Eric Weidner led the way in scoring with 14 and 12 points respectively.

In the eighth-grade contest, T-town edged Mount Zion, 31-28.

The Shoes held a 21-18 halftime lead and still led by that same three-point margin going into the final quarter where both teams scored eight points.

Ross Bloemer led T-town with eight points.
