The Bullpups fell in the seventh-grade game, 33-24. St. Anthony held an 8-4 opening quarter lead but Shelbyville came back with a 12-7 second period run and went on for the win.
Budde scored eight points to lead St. Anthony while Stephens added seven.
In the eighth-grade contest, St. Anthony ripped out to a 19-0 and held Shelbyville to only eight points in the second period for a 46-8 win.
Lauritzen tallied 16 points for the Bulldogs while Denning added 11.

At Louisville
Effingham picked up two victories over North Clay (Louisville) Tuesday.
The Mustangs took a 16-12 halftime lead and went on for a 36-20 win.
Keagyn Koenig led the way for Effingham with 14 points while Nora Cekander added 10.
North Clay was led by Pontious with eight.
In the eighth-grade contest, Effingham led 18-6 at halftime and had a 14-3 third quarter run.
Drew Weis and Melia Wendling scored 10 points each for the Mustangs.
North Clay was led by Ruesken, Romack and Thompson with four points each.

At Teutopolis
Teutopolis played host to Paris Mayo and sent the visitors home with two defeats Tuesday.
The Wooden Shoes improved to 14-1 with a 25-12 win in the seventh-grade contest. T-town held a 10-8 first half lead then came out to hold Paris Mayo to no points in the third period to take a 19-8 lead.
Abby Kocher led the winners with eight points while Ella Willenborg added seven.
In the eighth-grade contest, T-town took a 26-18 win. The Shoes led by one point at halftime then had an 18-11 second half.
Tegeler led T-town with eight points. The Shoes are now 11-4.
