LeBron, Heat Beat Pacers At Buzzer

(Miami, FL) -- LeBron James hit a layup as time expired to give the Heat a 103-102 overtime win over the Pacers in Game One of the Eastern Conference finals.  James posted a triple-double with 30 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds.  James says he knew what he was doing on the final play.

It was LeBron's second career game-winner in the conference finals.  Chris Bosh added 17 points and Dwyane Wade chipped in 19 points, six rebounds and five assists. Chris Anderson put up 16 points off the bench on 7-of-7 shooting. Head coach Frank Vogel controversially pulled center Roy Hibbert on James game-winning shot. Hibbert had two blocks with 19 points and nine rebounds. Paul George paced Indiana with 27 points including the game-tying three pointer at the end of regulation and three free throws that put them ahead late in OT. David West tallied 26 points.  The Pacers will try to avoid falling behind 0-2 Friday in Miami.

"Coach K" To Return To USA Basketball

Mike Krzyzewski is returning as coach of the U.S. men's basketball team.  According to SI.com, the Duke head coach will lead the American squad at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. The 66-year-old Krzyzewski has coached the U.S. team since 2005, but had said after last year's London Olympics that he did not plan to return for the 2016 Games or the 2014 World Cup in Spain.
