North Clay, Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City and Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg were opening round winners.
North Clay opened with a 19-13 victory over South Central.
The score was knotted at 9-9 at halftime. North Clay then had a 4-0 third quarter and outscored South Central 6-4 in the final quarter.
Violet Price led the winners with six points.
South Central was led by Baylee Brown with seven.
Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City then easily downed Neoga by a 42-10 score.
CHBC held a 24-7 halftime lead.
Two players hit double figures. Haley Doty tallied 12 points while Gabriella Wakefield scored 10.
Neoga was led by Chloe Frankie with three points.
In the final contest of the evening, Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg won over Dieterich, 23-15.
Neither team scored in the first quarter before Dieterich held a 7-4 halftime lead. WSS came back with a 10-5 third period and outscored Dieterich 9-3 in the final quarter to claim the victory.
Mya Friese led the way for the winners with eight points while Kendra Hayes tallied seven.
Dieterich was led by Lena Goebel and Cassidy Goebel with four points each.

Effingham St. Anthony and Flora split victories in Tuesday action.
Flora won the seventh-grade contest, 23-7, taking a 14-5 first half lead.
St. Anthony was led by Fearday with eight points.
In the eighth-grade game, the Bullpups were 27-16 winners. St. Anthony held a 10-5 first half lead then had a 17-11 second half.
Lauritzen led with nine points while Henning added seven.

Effingham fell to Paris Crestwood in eighth-grade competition Tuesday, 43-13.
Crestwood edged out to a 9-5 opening quarter lead and then had a 13-2 second period and never looked back.
Effingham was led by Drew Weis with four points.

Teutopolis claimed two wins over Olney Tuesday evening.
The Wooden Shoes were 30-8 winners in seventh-grade play to improve to 12-1.
S. Vahling led the way in scoring with 10 while McMahon added eight.
The eighth-grade game went to T-town, 46-26. T-town held a 29-10 halftime lead.
C. Hoene scored 13 and Gaddis 12 for the winners who improved to 9-4.
