Sigel St. Michael picked up two junior high girls basketball victories over Effingham St. Anthony Thursday.

The Sharpshooters won the seventh-grade contest, 41-5. K. Ordner led the way for the winners with 10 points while a total of 10 players scored.

St. Anthony was led by Budde with four points.

In eighth-grade play, St. Michael was a 38-16 winners. The Sharpshooters held an 18-10 halftime lead then took off in the second half.

Jordan led the way with nine points.

St. Anthony was led by Denning with six points.
