Of all of the players that Shaquille O'Neal played with over his 19-year career, who was his least favorite teammate? The answer may surprise you, or not.

Dennis Rodman, said O’Neal on ‘The Big Podcast with Shaq.’ He “was a great player, but he made it hard,” O’Neal said of Rodman, adding “We had to be there an hour before the game. He'd come in 15 minutes before the game eating chicken and rice. While the coaches are talking, he would jump in the shower. Cold shower. Come and give you 15-20 rebounds.”

 

Suns, Mercury Owner Suspended One Year

The NBA is defending its decision to suspend Phoenix Suns and Mercury owner Robert Salver for one year and fine him $10 million for a history of racist and misogynist remarks and general bullying behavior.

The penalty seems a bit light to many NBA pros and fans. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver said Wednesday that the penalty was the maximum possible given that the investigators concluded that Salver had used racist and misogynist slurs but that they were “not motivated by racial or gender animus.”
