Aces' A'ja Wilson Named WNBA MVP

Las Vegas Aces forward A’ja Wilson was announced as the WNBA MVP Wednesday, after having also won the award in 2020.

The news came the day after the Aces eliminated the Seattle Storm 3 games to 1 to advance to the WNBA Finals.

The 26-year-old Wilson edged out Seattle’s Breanna Stewart in voting by a media panel, getting 478 points and 31 first-place votes to Stewart’s 446 points and 23 first-place votes.
