Stote Reeder Becomes Head Coach At Nashville

Stote Reeder, the brother of Teutopolis High School basketball coach, Chet Reeder, will be the new head basketball coach for Nashville High School this season.

Reeder became the Jerseyville Jersey High School boys basketball coach in 2005 and has coached there for the past 17 years. His teams won two Class 3A regional championships and had eight winning seasons.

This past basketball season, Jerseyville went 14-17.

Reeder started his coaching career in 2000 at Flanagan where his first team was 11-18 but in 2001-02, Flanagan went 18-13, in 2002-03, 26-6 in 2003-04 and 20-10 in 2003-04. 

Reeder will be taking over a Nashvile squad that went 30-4 in 2020, winning the state championship.
