President Biden Has Read Griner's Letter

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Tuesday that President Biden had read the letter to him by WNBA star Brittney Griner appealing for him to do all he can to get her released by Russia, which has held her since February.

Jean-Pierre didn’t detail Biden's reaction to the letter that was delivered Monday, but said of Griner’s situation, “This is very personal to him,” and “We are going to use every tool we possibly can to make that happen.”
