Heat Stomp Bulls In Game Four
(Chicago, IL) -- The Heat took a commanding 3-1 series lead over the Bulls in the Eastern Conference semifinals with an 88-65 stomping behind 27 points, eight assists and seven rebounds from LeBron James. Since taking Game One, Chicago has dropped three in-a-row. Miami held the Bulls to 26-percent shooting from the field. Chris Bosh added 14 points, six rebounds and four blocks, while Dwyane Wade's struggles continued for Miami as he shot 3-of-10 with six points and four assists. Carlos Boozer posted 14 points and 12 rebounds in the loss. The Heat will have the chance to close out the series and advance to Eastern Conference Finals at home in Game Five on Wednesday.
Grizz Claw Past Thunder In Game Four
(Memphis, TN) -- The Grizzlies held the Thunder to three points in overtime as they pulled out a 103-97 win in Game Four of their Western Conference semifinals series. Grizzlies forward Zach Randolph says they are in a good position up 3-1 in the series.
Memphis is on the verge of eliminating the defending Western Conference champions with a 3-1 lead. The Grizz front court duo of Randolph and Marc Gasol imposed their will with 23 points each and 23 rebounds combined. Mike Conley scored a team-high 24 points as Memphis tries to close it out in Game Five on Wednesday in Oklahoma City. Kevin Durant posted 27 points, seven rebounds and seven assists in the loss. Durant shot 10-of-27 from the field. Kevin Martin added 18 points off the bench and Serge Ibaka chipped in 17 points and 14 rebounds. OKC is 3-and-5 since losing Russell Westbrook
Owners Still Want Kings To Stay In Sacramento
ESPN.com reports a committee of NBA owners still believes the Sacramento Kings should not be relocated to Seattle and should remain in California. According to the report, a final vote on the issue is expected at the owners' meetings in Dallas tomorrow. Chris Hansen has been attempting to buy the Kings and relocate them to Seattle.
