Hawks, Pelicans Wednesday Winners in Play-In Games

The Atlanta Hawks and New Orleans Pelicans won in the NBA's Play-In Tournament games Wednesday between the ninth and 10th seeds, with the Hawks topping the Charlotte Hornets 132-103 and the Pelicans defeating the San Antonio Spurs 113-103.
The Hawks will play the Cleveland Cavaliers Friday for the #8 Eastern Conference seed, and New Orleans will play the LA Clippers for the #8 playoff seed in the West.
The season is over for the Hornets and the Spurs.
