EHS varsity basketball special award winners were, left to right, Ethan Jones, Dalton Fox, Garrett Wolfe, Brayden Pals and Spencer Fox.
Effingham High School boys basketball cheerleading and pom pon awards were presented at the awards ceremony Friday.
Awards in boys varsity basketball went to Dalton Fox (Defensive Most Valuable Player, Hustle, Toughness, Highest Free Throw Percentage), Garrett Wolfe (Offensive Most Valuable Player), Ethan Ritz (Most Improved), Brayden Pals (Rebounding) and Spencer Fox (Outstanding Sophomore).
Lettermen were Dalton Fox, Brayden Pals, Ethan Ritz, Jett Volpi, Eduardo Roncada, Garrett Wolfe, Armando Estrada, Andrew Splechter, Andrew Donaldson, Gunner Brown, Ethan Atteberry, Logan Heil, Quest Hull and Spencer Fox.
EHS junior varsity special award winners were, left to right, Gunner Brown, Spencer Fox, Quest Hull, Andrew Spechter and Logan Heil. Not pictured was Armando Estrada.
Awards in junior varsity basketball went to Andrew Splechter (Offensive Most Valuable Player), Quest Hull (Defensive Most Valuable Player), Logan Heil (Hustle), Spencer Fox (Toughness), Armando Estrada (Most Improved) and Gunner Brown (highest free throw percentage).
Winning freshman/sophomore special awards were, left to right, Rylan Pals, Brodie Belcher, Ethan Jones and Michael Love.
Freshman/sophomore basketball awards went to Brodie Belcher (Offensive Most Valuable Player), Ethan Jones (Defensive Most Valuable Player, Most Improved), Michael Love (Hustle, Toughness) and Rylan Pals (highest free throw percentage).
Pom Pon special award winners were, left to right, Grace Clark, Anna Carrell and Gracie Kroenlein.
Award winners for the Pom Pon squad were Anna Carrell (Leadership, Choreography), Grace Clark (Choreography) and Gracie Kroenlein (Showmanship).
Letterwinners were Anna Hirtzel, Grace Clark, Ashlyn Harmon, Anna Carrell, Kaci Jackson, Finlay Pals, Lindy Kalber and Gracie Kroenlein.
Cheerleading awards went to Kyle Thompson (Most Outstanding, Heart of the Team), Kaylee Thompson (Most Dedicated), Paige Kalber (Most Improved and Gabbi Kreke (Work Hard).
Letterwinners included Alli Crainick, Paige Kalber, Kaylee Thompson, Kyle Thompson, Lucy Dorman, Gabbi Kreke, Hallee Lewis, Maddie Rieman, Serenity Traxler, Aila-Jai Woomer, Brianna Alwardt, Abbie Cochran, Briana Dilger, Makenna Duckwitz, Gabby Haslett, Addison Holste, Sarah Hirtzel and Addysen Stortzum.
Winning special awards in cheerleading were, left to right, Gabbi Kreke, Kaylee Thompson, Kyle Thompson and Paige Kalber.
