The Class 3A and Class 4A boys basketball state tournaments came to a close during the weekend at the State Farm Center in Champaign.

Class 3A State Tournament Scores:

Springfield Sacred Heart-Griffin 50, Chicago St. Ignatius College Prep 39

Metamora 50, Chicago Simeon 47

Third Place Game -- Chicago St. Ignatius 67, Chicago Simeon 59

Championship -- Springfield Sacred Heart-Griffin 53, Metamora 50 (2 overtimes)

 

Class 4A State Tournament Scores:

Chicago Whitney Young 51, Barrington 47

Glen Ellyn Glenbard West 77, Bolingbrook 47

Third Place Game -- Barrington 59, Bolingbrook 54

Championship -- Glenn Ellyn 56, Chicago Whitney Young 34
