Neoga Downs WSS, Advances To Title Game

WSS, seeded No. 3, took an 11-7 opening quarter lead as Jordan Wittenberg scored nine of those points. But, Neoga came back with a 14-9 second period to lead 21-20 at halftime. Kaden Young scored seven points while Brady Reynolds nailed a three-pointer.
The Hatchets had a 12-11 third quarter as Austin Wittenberg stepped forward with six points. That tied the score at 32-32 going into the final period.
From there, Neoga's Paci McClure took over, hitting six points while Young put in another three-pointer and the Indians pulled out the 44-40 victory.
Young finished with 15 points to lead the winners while McClure added 10. Neoga improved to 16-16 on the season.
WSS was led by J. Wittenberg with 15 and A. Wittenberg with 10. The Hatchets end the season with a 24-7 record.
In the opening contest, Meridian won over Casey-Westfield, 63-56. Meridian was led by Grant Meisenhelter with 19, Graham Meisenhelter with 16, Phillips with 13 and Ralston with 11. Meridian advances with a 25-7 mark.
Casey-Westfield was led by J. Parcel with 16. The Warriors end the season 14-14.
