SEB, WSS, Altamont, Dieterich Claim NTC/CIC Shootout Wins

In the opening game, Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond defeated Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City, 52-45.
ALAH edged out to a 26-24 halftime lead and led by seven going into the final period.
Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City had three players finish in double figures. Jadon Robertson tallied 16 points while Silas Buzzard added 15 and Kade Persinger 10.
The second game went to St. Elmo/Brownstown over Sullivan, 51-32. The Eagles stepped out to a 20-10 opening quarter lead and led 28-16 at halftime. SEB then had a 10-5 third period run.
The Eagles only had one player in double figures but six scored in the contest. Gavyn Smith knocked in 23 points on eight field goals and seven of 10 at the line. Adam Atwood pulled down five rebounds. Smith led in steals with five. Jarrett Pasley had three blocked shots.
Shelbyville then edged North Clay (Louisville), 67-60.
The Rams took a 16-14 opening quarter lead then had a 21-12 second period run to lead 37-26 at halftime. The Cardinals had a 34-30 second half but still fell short.
Three players scored in double figures for North Clay. Logan Fleener led the way with 24 points while Dakota Weidner added 15 and Alex Boose had 11.
In the fourth contest, Warrensburg-Latham defeated Neoga, 54-44. No other statisics were available.
In game five, Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg downed Tuscola, 54-43.
The Hatchets edged out to a 16-11 opening quarter lead and led 33-22 at halftime. WSS then had a 10-6 third period.
Samuel Vonderheide and Austin Wittenberg were the one-two scoring punch for the Hatchets with 18 points each.
Windsor/Stew-Stras improved to 23-5 on the season.
Altamont tallied a 58-39 victory over Macon Meridian in the sixth game.
The Indians edged out to a 15-14 opening quarter lead but Macon Meridian held a 25-24 halftime lead. Altamont came back with a 24-14 second half to claim the win.
Mason Robinson scored 23 points on eight field goals that included four three-pointers and three of five at the line. Also in double figures was Eric Kollmann with 10.
In the final game, Dieterich was a 59-25 winner over Central A&M.
The Movin' Maroons led 27-20 at halftime then had a 22-5 third quarter and kept CAM from scoring in the final period.
Andrew Lidy was the scoring leader with 21 points while Pete Britton chipped in with 17. The Maroons connected on eight three-pointers as Britton and Lidy had three each.
