Dieterich, North Clay Win In Boys Basketball

The Movin' Maroons took a 12-10 opening quarter lead and led 19-18 at halftime. Then came the big third quarter for Dieterich. The Maroons ran off a 16-9 third quarter and never looked back.

Dieterich was led by Pete Britton with 15 points. Britton connected on four three-pointers and was three of four at the line. Luke Westendorf added nine points.

At Patoka

North Clay (Louisville) defeated Patoka in non-conference action Thursday evening.

The Cardinals held an 18-9 opening quarter lead and never looked back in a 50-37 victory.

Logan Fleener scored in double figures for North Clay with 14 points while Bryton Griffy chipped in with 11.

The Cardinals also nabbed the junior varsity game, 42-39. Jesse Weidner led the winners with 11 while Ethan Kuenstler and Trey Wells had 10 each.
