The Wooden Shoes claimed a win in their opener over Taylor Ridge Rockridge, 32-22.
T-town held a 12-8 halftime lead then had a 12-7 third quarter run and finished out with an 8-7 final period.
Jake Kocher led the Shoes with 11 points while Carson Cornell added eight.
In other first round contests, Germantown Hills won over East St. Louis Lincoln, 37-28, Monticello downed Lisle, 33-24 and Glenwood Brookwood edged Williamsville, 35-32.
T-town then faced Glenwood Brookwood and fell, 37-34.
The Shoes had a 10-8 opening quarter and led 22-11 at halftime. But Glenwood Brookwood came back with a 15-4 third quarter surge to tie the score at 26-26 going into the final period. Glenwood Brookwood then had an 11-8 final period to pull out the win.
Kocher led the Shoes with 10 points while Andy Lustig added nine.
"We dominated the first half controlling the inside game," said T-town Coach Doug Smith. "In the second half, Brookwood packed their two-three zone tight and took away our inside game. We were down 35-34 with about seven seconds to go, taking the ball out under our basket. We ran an inbounds play in which we got a good look to take the lead but the ball rimmed off and Brookwood rebounded and we had to foul."
In the other second round contest, Monticello edged Germantown Hills, 22-21.
Monticello will face Glenwood Brookwood at 7:30 p.m. Thursday for the championship. T-town, with a 24-2 record, will meet Germantown Hills (24-3) at 6 p.m. for third place.

Class 7-1A State Tournament
Effingham Sacred Heart competed in the 7-1A State Tournament at East Peoria Central Junior High School.
The Shamrocks fell in their opening game to Griggsville-Perry, 42-26 to exit the tourney.
Griggsville-Perry took a 13-8 opening quarter lead then blew the game open with a 15-1 second quarter run to lead 28-9 at halftime. Griggsville-Perry then had a 14-13 second half.
Jude Traub led the Shamrocks with 17 points on seven field goals that included one three-pointer and two of four at the line.
Sacred Heart finished the season with a 19-3 record.
In other first round games, Peoria Limestone Walters won over Ottawa Marquette, 50-34; Danville Schlarman downed Gifford, 31-23 and Springfield Christ the King defeated Peru Catholic, 43-19.
In the semifinals, Peoria Limestone Walters won over Griggsville-Perry, 43-33 and Springfield Christ The King downed Danville Schlarman, 52-26.
Springfield Christ the King faces Peoria Limestone Walters for the championshp at 7:30 p.m. Thursday while Griggsville-Perry meets Danville Schlarman at 6 pm.. for othird place.

Class 2A State Tournament
Stewardson-Strasburg saw its season come to a close in the opening round game of the Class 2A State Tournament at Macon Meridian High School Saturday.
Hardin Calhoun edged out to a 7-5 opening quarter lead but Stew-Stras came back with a 7-4 second period to lead 12-11 at halftime. Hardin Calhoun came roaring back in the third period with a 14-8 run and finished out with a 10-9 final quarter.
Noah Pruemer led Stew-Stras with 13 points while Brody Bible added seven. Stew-Stras ends the season with a 19-6 record.
In other first round contests, Normal Metcalf downed Bartonsville Monroe 37-19, Champaign St. Matthew edged Colchester West Prairie 48-41 and Decatur Robertson won over Dwight, 42-19.
In semifinal games, Normal Metcalf beat Champaign St. Matthew, 32-25 and Decatur Robertson defeated Hardin Calhoun, 47-39.
Normal Metcalf and Decaur Robertson meet for the championship game at 7:30 p.m .Thursday while Champaign St. Matthew and Hardin Calhoun square off for third at 6.
