Teutopolis Edges Taylorville In Boys Action

The Wooden Shoes trailed Taylorville 11-7 after the first quarter. But it was the Garrett Gaddis show in the second period as he connected on four three-pointers for 12 of the 17 points as the Shoes held a 24-20 halftime lead.

Max Niebrugge hit a three-pointer in that second period and continued on with two more in the third and finished with five for the contest.

The Tornadoes knotted the score at 38-38 with an 18-14 third period . But the Shoes got back on track in the final quarter to pull out the four-point victory.

M. Niebrugge led the way with 19 points while Gaddis added 14. Mitch Althoff and Caleb Siemer tallied nine each. Siemer led in the way in rebounds with five while M. NIebrugge had five assists.

T-town improved to 16-7 on the season.
