Lee Breaks NCAA Women's Single-Game Scoring Record

Kansas State’s Ayoka Lee broke the NCAA women’s Division I basketball single-game scoring record with 61 points Sunday in a 94-65 win over Oklahoma.

Lee beat the previous record of 60 that had been held by two women: Cindy Brown of Long Beach State, who had 60 on February 16, 1987, and Rachel Banham, who had 60 for Minnesota on February 7, 2016. 

 

Gonzaga Suspends John Stockton

Gonzaga has suspended NBA Hall of Famer John Stockton’s basketball season tickets for refusing to wear a mask as required by the university.
Stockton, who is one of Gonzaga’s most prominent alums, has spoken out against Covid-19 vaccines and mask mandates.
