Pairings Released for 2022 NTC Boys Basketball Tournament

Pairings were released Saturday morning for the 86th National Trail Conference Boys Basketball Tournament. The tournament will run from Monday through Saturday, January 24-29 at Altamont Community High School.

St. Anthony is the #1 seed, with Altamont #2, Windsor/Stew-Stras #3, North Clay #4, Dieterich #5, South Central #6, Neoga #7, St. Elmo/Brownstown #8, and Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City #9.

One game will be played Monday night at 6:15pm with St. Elmo/Brownstown taking on CHBC. The winner will advance to the 6:15pm game Tuesday against top-seeded St. Anthony. The second game Tuesday will see North Clay vs. Dieterich, a battle between the #4 and #5 seeds.

Wednesday will feature #2 Altamont vs. #7 Neoga at 6:15pm, followed by #3 Windsor/Stew-Stras and #6 South Central.

Thursday will see a 5 p.m. game involving the Monday loser and the loser of the first Wednesday game, to be followed by the Tuesday losers at 6:15pm, then the Tuesday winners.

Friday will feature the Wednesday losers at 6:15pm, then the Wednesday winners.

The Saturday schedule will begin at 11:30am featuring the Thursday second game loser and the Friday first game loser. At 1pm, the consolation championship game will feature the Thursday second game and Friday first game winners. At 2:30pm, the third place game will involve the Thursday third game and Friday second game losers. At 7:30pm, the championship game will be played involving the Thursday third game and Friday second game winners.
