C'land, WSS To Play For Third Place At ALAH Knights Classic Girls Tourney

ARTHUR -- Cumberland and Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg will play for third place at the Knights Holiday Classic Girls Basketball Tournament Thursday.

 

 In Thursday's early action, Mount Zion was a 52-17 winner over Cumberland. The Braves are 3-0 while Cumberland dropped to 2-1. In the second contest, Shelbyville defeated Flanagan-Cornell, 52-40. Shelbyville is 1-2 while Flanagan-Cornell dropped to 0-3. Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg then handed Sullivan a 47-39 loss. WSS is 2-1 while Sullivan dropped to 0-3

Flanagan-Cornell will meet Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond Junior Varsity at 3 p.m. for seventh place in the Old Gym. Sullivan will take on Shelbyville at 3 p.m. in the New Gym for fifth place.

Windsor/Stew-Stras meets Cumberland at 4:30 p.m. in the Old Gym for third place. Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond faces Mount Zion at 4:30 p.m. in the New Gym for the championship.
