The Shamrocks claimed the seventh-grade victory, 45-32. Sacred Heart took an 18-10 opening quarter lead and led 28-16 at halftime. The Shamrocks continued with a 10-4 third quarter run.
Traub tallied 15 for the winners while Hecht added 14.
Altamont was led by Reardon and Buchanan with 10 points each.
Altamont claimed a 46-42 victory in the eighth-grade game.
Altamont led 23-18 at halftime then had to hold off Sacred Heart in the second half for the four point victory.
Veteto scored 22 for the winners while Tedrick added eight.
Sacred Heart was led by Warner with eight.

At Teutopolis
Teutopolis handed Mattoon losses in both games Monday.
In the seventh-grade game, the Wooden Shoes downed Mattoon, 42-34. T-town held a 21-16 halftime lead then had a 21-18 second half.
Three players finished with double figures. Ross Bloemer led with 11 while Aidan Niemerg and Kendal Mette added 10 each.
In the eighth-grade game, T-town easily won, 44-16. The Shoes had a 24-8 halftime lead.
Isaac McWhorter led the way with 15 points.

At St. Elmo
St. Elmo/Brownstown and South Central claimed a victory each Monday.
South Central won the seventh-grade contest, 48-23. South Central held a 15-12 halftime lead then went on a run with a 25-5 third quarter. Sebastian Krueger tallied only one basket in the first half, then broke loose with 11 in the third period while teammate Garrett Shumate scored nine.
Shumate finished with 15 to lead the winners while Kruger added 13. South Central improved to 14-1 on the season.
St. Elmo/Brownstown was led by Wollin with eight.
In the eighth-grade contest, St. Elmo/Brownstown held a 23-21 halftime lead then had a 20-17 second half for the 43-38 win.
Poe finished with 18 to lead SEB while L. Powell added 13.
South Central was led by Trevan Sidwell with 10. South Central dropped to 5-10.
