North Clay Tallies Boys Cage Win Over Woodlawn

The Cardinals edged out to a 12-7 opening quarter lead as Alex Boose hit a three-pointer and was three of four at the line and Bryton Griffy hit two baskets.

The lead went to 27-14 at halftime as five players scored for the Cardinals. North Clay had a 17-9 third quarter. Boose continued his hot scoring with three three-pointers and two regular baskets for 10 in the period.

Boose finished with 18 points on six field goals, three of those trifectas, and was three of four at the line. Griffy also tallied in double figures with 12 points.

The Cardinals captured the junior varsity contest, 38-32. Trey Wells led the winners with 14 points.
