North Clay Boys Fall To Fairfield

FAIRFIELD -- North Clay faced Fairfield in a non-conference boys basketball contest and fell, 53-39 Monday evening.

Fairfield edged out to a 13-11 opening quarter lead and held a 21-18 halftime tally.

The Mules came back with a 14-6 third period and finished out with the victory.

Rodgers and Best led Fairfield with 16 points each.

North Clay was led by Logan Fleener with 17. Fleener connected on seven field goals, including two three-pointers, and was one of two at the line.
