Salem claimed the seventh-grade contest, 43-17. Salem took a 15-9 first half lead then had a 28-8 second half.
Carter Braddy led EJHS with four points. The Mustangs fall to 2-6.
In the eighth-grade game, the Mustangs improved to 8-0 with a 31-18 victory over Franklin Park.
EJHS held a 16-7 halftime lead then had a 15-11 second half.
The Mustangs were led in scoring by Wyatt Hayes and Cole Phillips with eight each.

At Marshall
Teutopolis pounded Marshall 58-8 in seventh-grade action Tuesday.
The Wooden Shoes held a 29-3 halftime lead. Jake Kocher led the way as the only player in double figures with 10. Seventeen Shoes scored in the contest.
In eighth-grade action, T-town held a 16-4 opening quarter lead but Marshall came back with a 34-23 run over the next three quarters only to fall 39-38.
Gavin Buening scored 12 for the winners while Isaac McWhorter added nine.

Dieterich claimed wins over Altamont in both sevenh- and eighth-grade play Tuesday.
Dieterich was a 41-13 winner in the seventh-grade contest.
In eighth-grade action, Dieterich won 38-24. Dieterich held a 20-9 halftime lead.
M. Lidy scored 16 while A. Hall tallied 13 for the winners.
Altamont was led by Tedrick with 12.

Stewardson-Strasburg handed South Central two defeats Tuesday.
Stewardson-Strasburg claimed the seventh-grade contest, 73-20.
Stew-Stras stepped out to a 27-6 halftime lead and never looked back.. The winners were led by Pruemer with 22 and Bible with 10.
South Central was led by Sebastian Kruger with eight.
In the eighth-grade contest, Stew-Stras tallied a 33-28 victory.
South Central held a 16-15 halftime lead. The score was knotted at 26-26 going into the final period. Stew-Stras then came to life with a 7-2 final period for the 33-28 win.
Stew-Stras was led by Sayers with 11.
South Central was led by Trevan Sidwell with 10.

Jasper County picked up two victories over Robinson Nuttall Tuesday.
Jasper County was a 38-31 winner in the seventh-grade encounter.
Jasper County broke an 8-8 opening quarter tie with a 9-3 second period and had a 13-12 final quarter.
Hayden Mulvey tallied 21 for the winners. Jasper County is now 5-4.
In eighth-grade action, Jasper County ran off to a 15-0 first quarter lead and finished with a 42-30 victory.
Dexter Fulton and Drake Wolf scored 12 each for the winners who improve to 4-5.
