The Wooden Shoes trounced Palestine/Hutsonville, 73-3. T-town ripped out to a 22-0 opening quarter lead and led 44-0 at halftime. Palestine/Hutsonville scored three points in the third quarter.
Malea Helmink led the way with 14 points for the Shoes while CJ Apke added 12.
The top-seeded Shoes will now face Dieterich at 6 p.m. Thursday in the second round.
Dieterich, seeded fifth, edged fourth-seeded Oblong, 15-14 to advance.
Tonight's games feature Edwards County (Albion) against North Clay (Louisville) at 6 p.m. followed by Effingham St. Anthony taking on Red Hill (Bridgeport) at 7:15. The winners advance to the 7:15 p.m. game Thursday.

Class 2A Madison Regional
Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City and Altamont claimed victories at the Madison Regional Monday.
CHBC, seeded fourth, downed fifth-seeded South Central, 22-16.
The Bobcats stepped out to a 10-0 opening quarter lead and led 14-4 at halftime. South Central came back with a 12-8 second half but couldn't make up that first half run by CHBC.
Haley Doty tallied eight points for the winners while Helena Bowlin added seven.
South Central was led by Reid with eight.
In the second contest, Altamont, seeded third, handed sixth-seeded Madison a 33-19 loss.
CHBC advances to face top-seeded Brownstown/St. Elmo at 5 p.m. Thursday while Altamont will meet No. 2 seeded Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg at 6:30 p.m.

Class 3A Paris Mayo Regional
Cumberland and Paris Mayo advanced from Monday evening action in the Paris Mayo Regional.
Cumberland handed Jasper County a 35-26 loss in the opener. Fourth-seeded Cumberland advances to face top-seeded Robinson Nuttall tonight at 6.
Paris Mayo then defeated Lawrenceville Parkview, 27-14. Third-seeded Paris Mayo advances to face second-seeded Marshall at 7:30 p.m. today.
Class 4A Effingham Regional
Taylorville and Mattoon were opening round winners in the Effingham Regional Monday.
Fourth-seeded Taylorville defeated fifth-seeded Stephen Decatur, 22-17 in the opener.
In the second game, Mattoon, seeded third, downed sixth-seeded Charleston, 31-13.
Taylorville advances to meet top-seeded Effingham today at 6 p.m. followed by Mattoon against second-seeded Mt. Zion at 7:15.
