Five area girls teams will be competing in the Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Thanksgiving Tournament and those include the host squad along with Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg, Brownstown/St. Elmo, Dieterich and Cumberland along with Macon Meridian, Red Hill (Bridgeport) and Ramsey.

In Pool A are WSS, BSE, Dieterich and Ramsey. In Pool B are Macon Meridian, CHBC, Cumberland and Red Hill.

The tourney opens Tuesday, November 21 and will run Friday, Nov. 26 and finish out Saturday, Nov. 27.
