Heat, Knicks Jump Out To Leads, Warriors Even Up With Nuggets

The Heat and Knicks are both out to 2-0 series leads in their respective NBA playoff series.  Miami dropped the Milwaukee Bucks 98-86 to grab its lead while New York cruised by the Boston Celtics, 87-71.  Out West, the Golden State Warriors pulled even at one game each in their series with the Denver Nuggets by grabbing a 131-117 victory.

 

Cavs, Brown Reportedly Have Deal In Place

(Cleveland, OH) -- Mike Brown is set to become the head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers for the second time.  ESPN reports Brown has agreed to a five-year, $20-million contract. Brown would replace Byron Scott, who was fired after three seasons. Brown spent five seasons as head coach of the Cavs before a brief stint with the Lakers.
