In the opening contest, Neoga edged North Clay (Louisville), 24-23.
The second game went to South Central over Effingham Sacred Heart, 21-16.
In the third game, Altamont beat Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City, 31-24.
Altamont edged out to a 9-6 opening quarter lead as K. Lurkins connected on three baskets. Altamont led 14-8 at halftime then held on for the win in the second half.
Lurkins finished with nine to lead the winners.
CHBC was led by Doty with 10.
Tonight's games feature top-seeded Sigel St. Michael against Neoga at 5:30 followed by No. 2 Brownstown/St. Elmo against South Central at 6:45 and No. 3 Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg taking on Dieterich at 8.

At St. Anthony
Flora tallied a 24-12 victory over Effingham St. Anthony in eighth-grade action Tuesday.
Flora held a 7-6 halftime lead then had an 11-4 third quarter run. Jones led the winners with 14 points.
St. Anthony was led by Lilly Gannaway with 10 points. St. Anthony improves to 7-5.
In the seventh-grade contest, St. Anthony claimed a 22-10 victory.
The Bullpups held a 14-4 first half lead and never looked back.
Aubrey Denning and Addie Lauritzen led the way for the winners with six points each.

At Teutopolis
Teutopolis swept out to big leads in both seventh- and eighth-grade action and claimed victories over Olney Tuesday.
In the seventh-grade game, T-town held a 14-2 opening quarter lead and tallied a 30-11 win. Kylie Borries scored 10 for the winners who improve to 10-1.
In eighth-grade action, T-town took an 18-2 opening quarter lead and won 44-12.
Kelsey Niemerg led the way with 15 points while Anna Probst added 11 as the squad remained unbeaten with an 11-0 record.

At Effingham
Effingham tallied an eighth-grade win over Paris Crestwood in Tuesday action.
The Mustangs took a 12-8 opening quarter lead but Crestwood tied at halftime, 18-18.
Effingham then had a 4-3 third quarter to lead 22-21 and outscored Crestwood 12-4 in the final period.
Martin led the Mustangs with 16 points while Wolfe added 12.
