CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – State Farm Center will host fans for an Illini Basketball game this Saturday, October 23 for the first time in 594 days. Given the lengthy time away and all that has transpired since the Illini defeated Iowa on March 8, 2020, it’s important to share some updates about the game day fan experience and remind attendees of what to expect when returning to the HOUSE OF PAIGN!

MASK POLICY & COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

While State Farm Center and Illinois Athletics are thrilled to welcome Illini fans back to State Farm Center, there are a few important safety precautions to keep in mind and plan for when attending a game.

In accordance with State of Illinois, local, and University of Illinois guidance, ALL fans over age 2 attending Illini Basketball home games are currently required to wear a face covering, regardless of vaccination status.  Coverings may be temporarily removed while actively eating or drinking.  This policy will be enforced by State Farm Center staff in the spirit of protecting the safety and wellbeing of all attendees.  Cooperation is greatly appreciated as it will allow everyone to enjoy Illini Basketball games in person!

Additional information regarding University of Illinois policy can be found here: COVID-19 Policies

In addition to the mask guidelines outlined above, all fans are asked to:

-- Stay home experiencing any signs or symptoms of COVID-19

-- Wash and/or sanitize hands frequently

-- Respect the safety and wellbeing of others in attendance

-- Report concerns to nearest member of State Farm Center staff
