Taylorville took a 19-2 opening quarter lead and led 23-7 at halftime.
The Bullpups were led by Aubrey Denning with four points.
In eighth-grade play, the Bullpups were 29-14 winners. The score was knotted at 11-11 at halftime before St. Anthony had an 18-2 second half.
Denning and Lilly Gannaway led the winners with eight points each.

At Teutopolis
Teutopolis nabbed two victories over Mattoon in junior high girls basketball Monday evening.
The Wooden Shoes improved to 3-0 in seventh-grade action with a 31-7 win. T-town held a 21-6 halftime lead and never looked back.
Elise Pals led the way with 12 points for the Shoes.
In the eighth-grade matchup, T-town stepped out to a 19-3 first half lead and downed Mattoon 38-7.
The Shoes are now 3-0 and were led by Mallory Bloemer with nine points.

At Nokomis
Cowdne-Herrick/Beecher City fell to Nokomis in both seventh- and eighth-grade play Monday.
Nokomis was a 37-32 winner in the seventh-grade contest.
CHBC trailed 22-19 at halftime and had a 13-11 second half to tie the score at 32-32 sending the game into overtime. In the overtime period, Nokomis had a 5-0 run for the win.
Haley Doty tallied 20 for CHBC who dropped to 4-1 on the season.
In eighth-grade play, Nokomis was a 36-17 winner. Doty had nine to again lead the Bobcats who fall to 3-2.

Dieterich and Oblong split victories in Monday evening action.
Dieterich was a 30-6 winner in seventh-grade play. Dieterich stepped out to a 13-2 opening quarter lead and that was the game.
The winners had even scoring as Cassidy Goebel tallied six points while Elaina Meinhart and Reegan Parish had five each.
In eighth-grade action, Oblong picked up a 37-12 victory. Oblong had a 19-2 opening half and never looked back.
Dieterich was led by Addison Miller with three points.
