Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City picked up both seventh- and eighth-grade girls basketball victories Friday over Neoga.
CHBC was a 39-13 winner in the seventh-grade contest. The Bobcats stepped out to a 16-4 opening quarter lead and that was the contest.
Helena Bowlin and Haley Doty were the one-two scoring punch with 10 points each. Neoga was led by Malory Henderson with seven.
In the eighth-grade matchup, CHBC took a 38-10 win. The Bobcats led 16-4 at halftime and finished strong.
Madison Dawson led the Bobcats with 12 points while Averie Vaughn added 10.
Neoga was led by Henderson with four.

At Effingham
Dieterich claimed two wins over Effingham Sacred Heart Thursday.
Dieterich was a 17-6 winner in the seventh-grade contest. Dieterich held a 10-1 opening half lead.
The winners were led by Kinli Michl with seven points and Lena Goebel with four. Mara Braun led Sacred Heart with four.
In eighth-grade competition, Dieterich claimed a 26-14 victory.
Madison Hahn and Addison Miller tallied eight points each for the winners.
The Shamrocks were led by Avery Aldrich and Mara Braun with four each.

At Strasburg
Stewardson-Strasburg handed North Clay (Louisville) a double loss Thursday.
Stew-Stras was a 32-21 winner in seventh-grade competition. Stew-Stras ran off to a 22-2 opening quarter lead and held off North Clay in the second half.
Kendra Hayes led the winners with 20 points. Pontious led North Clay with five.
In the eighth-grade game, Stew-Stras picked up a 40-14 victory with a 27-5 opening half.
Myra Friese had 19 points while Hayes added 10.
North Clay was led by Fleener with five.
